PIP LANDERS-LETTS
ABOUT PIP
Hello. You look nice today!
Okay, enough with the flirting. Let me tell you a bit about Pip...
Pip lives a full and happy life in the UK with her wife, Shannon and their two young ‘kids’ Mouse (the cat) and Roux (the dog). When she’s not hanging out with her imaginary friends, she loves travelling, being in the mountains, making delicious food – and eating it, pouring good wine – and drinking it. Oh and yes, Pip is her real name. And no, she's not Dutch.
In exciting news...
Pip has finally figured out what she wants to do when she grows up.
Who knew there was a writer inside her just screaming to come out, along with a whole pride of queer characters begging to be written about? (yes, yes... the voices in her head).
Okay, tell me more...
Inspired by a trip to Scandinavia, Pip's imagination fizzed as she tapped away at her keyboard until a whole novel had poured out. All of this inspiration and perspiration resulted in The Weight of What Was -- a story about a delightfully dysfunctional family, who go on a snowy Arctic adventure. There are lots of twists and turns and a Sapphic romance at the heart of it all... because representation matters.
And what's next?
Pip hopes you will read her debut novel and buy many, many copies for everyone you know.
If you love it and tell the world about it, she promises she'll write more.
Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
